How often can you refill Zepbound (Tirzepatide)?

How often you refill Zepbound™ prescription depends on your prescribed dosage and the refill allowances set by your insurance provider. Zepbound is available in 6 different doses that are typically increasing on a monthly basis, beginning with weekly 2.5mg doses per pen, until reaching the maximum tolerated dose, which can be up to 15 mg. Once you've stabilized on a specific dose, your medical provider may prescribe refills at three-month intervals (equivalent to 90 days). However, depending on your insurance you may only be able to fill one month at a time while other plans prefer patients to get a 90 day supply.
