Will my Insurance Cover Contrave (naltrexone / bupropion)?

You will need to have your healthcare provider send in a prescription for Contrave® to know if Contrave is covered by insurance under your insurance plan. Alternatively, giving your insurance carrier a call in advance can provide you with information about Contrave prescription coverage. Most insurance companies provide a drug formulary, which is a list of all medications covered by insurance and what criteria needs to be met in order to be covered.
