How much naltrexone is in contrave?
Each Contrave® tablet contains 8 mg of naltrexone. The highest recommended dose of Contrave, 2 tablets taken twice daily, contains 32 mg of naltrexone.
Contrave is an FDA-approved prescription medication used for chronic weight management in adults with overweight and obesity. Contrave is a combination of two medications, bupropion and naltrexone, that target areas of the brain to reduce hunger and cravings.
