How long does Zepbound stay in your system?

Zepbound™ stays in your system for approximately 30 days after you stop the medication. This is based on the half-life of the medication which is 5 days. The half-life is the time it takes for half (50%) of the drug to be removed from your body. Keep in mind, the 5 day half-life is an estimate and it may vary from person to person. Due to its long half-life, Zepbound prescriptions can be administered once weekly. If you miss taking your Zepbound dose, administer the missed dose as soon as possible within 4 days. If it has been more than 4 days, skip the missed dose and administer the next dose on your usual injection day. You should not take two doses of the medication within 3 days of each other. Also, if it has been more than 2 weeks since your last dose, please consult your prescribing medical clinician before resuming use.
