What Happens If You Miss a Dose of Zepbound™ (Tirzepatide)?

Disclaimer: The content made available on The FORM Website represents the views and opinions of the authors and not those of other entities, such as the manufacturers of products mentioned therein.

If you miss a dose of Zepbound, it is recommended to administer the dose as soon as possible within 4 days of the missed dose.  If it is more than 4 days, plan to take the dose during the next regularly scheduled injection.  So, if you normally inject your medication on Saturday but forget, if you do not give yourself the injection by Wednesday (96 hours later) then it is recommended that you wait until Saturday to administer it. If it is more than 2 weeks from your last dose, please contact your medical provider for further instructions as it may be advised to take a lower dose to avoid serious gastrointestinal side effects.
