How Many Doses Are in a Wegovy® (Semaglutide) Pen?
Each Wegovy® pen contains a single dose of the medication, so for a one month supply you will receive four pens (one for each week). The pens are designed to deliver the entire dose at once and for the 1 month supply the doses will all be the same. Make sure to dispose of your used pen properly after taking it. Wegovy comes in five different strengths (0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 1.7 mg and 2.4 mg). Every four weeks, so long as the medication is tolerated, the dose is increased.
